The Second Annual Jim Cox Memorial Car Show was held April 6, 2013 at the beautiful Zamora Shrine Temple. Jim Cox was an avid classic car enthusiast and collector for many years. He served as an officer in both the Dixie Vintage Antique Automobile Club and the Pontiac International Club. The Jim Cox Memorial Car show was established in his memory by his widow, Peggy Mullinax Cox, and the Dixie Vintage Club. Both Peggy and the Dixie Vintage Club have been long time supporters of Travelers Aid and proceeds from the annual event go to support our Medical Transportation Program. With well over a hundred cars registered this year’s car show was a great success. In addition to the amazing cars we had live music and dancing under the pavilion, fun food, exciting vendors and even a collection of antique bicycles on display.
